Thanks for visiting the Parade of Quartets through the medium of
cyberspace. We are hopeful that your stay will enlighten you,
inspire you, and inform you as you surf the various components
of the site. Our aim is to continue being a vehicle to promote
and preserve gospel music in all of its genres as we provide an
opportunity for churches and artists to minister and promote
their ministry by way of television.
The time you spend on this site will allow you to capture the
rich history the Parade of Quartets has offered the Eastern
Georgia and Western South Carolina population for more than
fifty years. You can meet the personalities, read about many of
the groups, and discover how your ministry can become a part of
this trailblazing institution of gospel music. You will also see
how your programs or events can be aired as public service
announcements on the television or on our calendar of events on
this site.
Sincerely,
Reverend Karlton Howard
One of the things we know about Henry is that he loved to sing and
he loved singing. The story is told of Henry's boyhood days when he
would go around Twiggs, Nichlos, Maple and Ninth Streets humming
tunes.
We thank those who sang with Henry especially the Spirits of
Harmony. sound off/on
